My name is Maria
I am a Colombian-born, Toronto-based graphic designer and illustrator. Drawing, art, and all things design have been my thing since I was a kid. I love travelling and occasionally drift into existential daydreams.
My love language is design
Design with Impact
From brand identity to publications, UX, infographics, packaging, and more, I love exploring design in all its forms—turning ideas into work rooted in care, authenticity, and impact.

Designing with Care
With over 12 years of experience working with non-profits, start-ups, educational institutions, government agencies, and socially driven projects, I’ve learned three things:
01.
Design and storytelling
are inseparable.
02.
Curiosity and care shape every project.
03.
People should always be at the centre of the work.
Beyond professional design, I love exploring illustration, lino cuts, and other hands-on creative processes. These personal projects allow me to experiment, play, and express ideas visually in ways that inform and inspire my design work.
I create with intention, considering how every decision supports your brand, mission, and vision—building connection, inspiring reflection, using design to challenge and reimagine systems, and creating strategies that are sustainable and have lasting impact.
