My name is Maria
(but you can call me mari! )
I’m a Colombian-born, Toronto-based designer and illustrator who loves traveling and occasionally drifts into existential daydreams.
From brand identity to publications, UX design, illustrations, infographics, packaging, and more, I love exploring design in all its forms—and finding creative ways to turn ideas into work rooted in care, authenticity, and meaningful impact.
With over 12 years of experience working with non-profits,
start-ups, educational institutions, government agencies, and socially driven projects, I’ve learned three things:
design and storytelling are inseparable, curiosity and care shape every project, and people should always be at the centre of the work.
