Brand Identity, Website & Product Design

The Kit for Centering Black Youth Wellbeing is an online hub for anti-Black racism learning, action, and community engagement in Ontario’s youth sector, developed by YouthREX. Recognizing that anti-Black racism training initiatives must go beyond building the capacity of individuals – and that this work must include diverse resources and tools responsive to youth sector challenges and contexts – YouthREX envisioned an online hub to support structural transformation that centres the wellbeing of Black youth and their families in individual practices and organizational policies.

Website Development

The goal was to design an engaging hub that connected three components: an existing certificate (Learn), the Call-In-Cards action tool (Act), and an established community space (Connect).

As Brand and Design Manager at YouthREX, I contributed to the brand system, UX architecture, and cross-platform design strategy. I led wireframing, information architecture, and user journeys, and collaborated with a developer and multimedia storyteller to bring the hub to life while designing extensively in WordPress.
